Where did that come from?
We jumped from 12k to 13.3k within a day!
Are we going to hit 15k before the end???
You guys have been amazing! I've updated the Stretch goal according to your feedback.
Can we get this stretch goal too?
I'm beyond excited to see your responses once you receive the game!

6 days remaining! - Update 5

Into the last week like WOAH!
The number of Backers is steadily increasing! (even if we have cancellations every day.) Your support is just absolutely astonishing! Thank you guys!
Something special?
I have found a place to make and sell t-shirts (some of you mentioned they wanted them) that are made to order. I wouldn't make any money off of them (it would just make them cost more), but you would have a limited edition shirt! It would be handled through,, run for 14 days beginning the day the campaign ends. The cost of a shirt would be $25.- (shipping not included, would be shipped from the UK). Would you be interested in shirts?
I'm still looking into the possibility of Dice Cups and how/where to manufacture them at a fair price to you. I am afraid I won't be able to get what I deem worthy by the time the pledge manager goes live.
Add-On spare dice
I don't expect us to reach the 15k stretch goal, however I will guarantee that I'll produce the highest quality components and let you get one set of additional dice as an Add-On to the Game. You'll be able to get these spare sets of dice on the BackerKit Pledge Manager for 10.-
If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask away in the comments below!

10k stretch goal reached! - Update 4

WE JUST HIT 10'000.-!
It's incredible to see your excitement for Perthro in the comments. You have helped me shape the 10k stretch goal, have given me input on further stretch goals, have shared the campaign with friends... all of this would've been impossible without you!
And now:
On a side note:
I've also been working on a digital version of Perthro on the side. If you want to try it out, you can test out the game on Tabletopia right here!
What's next?
With still 12 days to go, let's talk about our next stretch goal at 15'000.-!
I was thinking:
- Larger Dice (from 16x16x16 to 20x20x20)
- Larger Bag (from 24 cm Ø to 28 cm Ø)
- Add-On Dice Sets (1 extra set of 12 Dice in a Ziplock Bag) for CHF10.- available in the Pledge Manager after the campaign ends.
What would you like to see? (within reason XD)
I'm curious about what you think!

New 10k stretch goal - Update 3

Thank you all for voicing your opinions!
As I previously thought, most of you either don't like or don't care much for the concave "knucklebone" dice that I had originally planned for the game. I know that some of you really liked the idea, and I'm deeply sorry, but it is impossible to justify the expenses to produce just a handful of the knucklebone dice. Let me explain: let's say 100 backers want the knucklebones - then the manufacturing cost of JUST the dice would be about €20.- and that doesn't include the production of the rest of the game (the bag, mat, box, etc.). In that case, I am basically paying you to get my game. Stretch goals should be something special where a creator can show their gratitude to their backers, and this one just doesn't work.
Therefore I have decided to change the 10k stretch goal.
I am really sorry for those of you who were looking forward to the dice, but instead of producing two separate versions and having a massive financial loss, I would rather give you the single best version of the game with something special added you ALL would enjoy! So here's what you'll get:
Higher quality components:
Thicker game mat to withstand more abuse.
stronger and moredurable drawstring on the bag.
higher quality resin for the cubicdice
Kickstarter exclusive METALCOINS
Each game will be shipped with 3 double-sided metal coins (diameter ~30mm). You can use these as a tracker for best of 3, first to 3 wins, who goes first, or whatever you please. The designs are not final, so if you have any input, please let me know in the comments below. The coins will however look exactly (aside from the design of course) like the ones posted in the last update.
Thank you all for voicing your opinions and being supportive of my decision. There are still more than two weeks to go and just shy of 1k to raise for this one. I'm thankful to have you with me on this adventure!

Nearly at 10k! - Update 2.5

Close to 10k and the stretch goal!
We've still been going strong since the initial hype of the first 48h died down. On average we get 10 to 15 new backers each day!
Unfortunately, we've also been losing some backers in the past two days, just around the time we arrived at 8.5k. Although there are many good reasons to cancel a pledge, it might correlate to the stretch goal being possibly a bit unclear and the dislike of the limited edition dice.
What would happen if we reach the 10k stretch goal?
After the campaign ends you'll gain access to the Pledge Manager.
There you would be able to choose what version(s) of the game you'd like to receive:
the limited edition (knucklebone dice)
the standard game (cubic dice)
Butmost people don't like the limited edition dice.
I thought most people would be stoked about the knucklebones, but man was I wrong...
Therefore I would love it if you could take the time and pleaselet me know in the comments below which dice type you prefer.
After talks with my manufacturer, I want you to know that the cost of the mold on its own is $ 1'500.- with a higher production cost due to the concave warp - which could lead to issues during engraving of the custom pattern and making it not as pretty as on the cubic dice.
I would just love to know if most of you actually want me to make them. If it's only a handful (less than 100), it's nearly impossible to justify the financial impact on the campaign. It just wouldn't make any sense to go through all of this and spend funds that would be better used elsewhere just to produce something that most of you don't even want.
If most of you really don't like the knucklebone dice, I would ask you if I could propose an alternative stretch goal instead.
As an example: I have made metal coins for my previous game (image below, the design is not the one I will use for Perthro), and want to add a two-sided Perthro Coin (2.5cm diameter) to each game. This was intended as the next stretch goal at 15k, but due to the mostly negative response to the limited edition dice, I don't expect we'll get to that stretch goal.
I hope you can understand my conundrum, and I don't want to disappoint you, therefore I would need you to please let me know what you want, by commenting on this update.
