BackerKit stragglers and Production update

Hello there my dear supporters!

I'm posting this quick update to inform you that 92% of you have kindly completed their BackerKit survey/ have confirmed their addresses in it's pledge manager.

For the last 40 of you who haven't done so, I urge you to complete it as soon as possible. Once I have the definite shipping address of you all, I can begin with organizing logistics like freight shipping quantities etc.

And I want to say thank you to everyone who has swiftly responded and has completed their survey!

Production Update

Currently, WinGo (my manufacturer) is finalizing the prototype production of the Box, Rules slips and coins. They should be ready for mass production next week!

My goal is to begin production early december (at the latest) and complete manufacturing before christmas.

Here's a short run down of what our current timetable looks like:

To ensure that we can ship out the games as soon as possible, Perthro has been fast-tracked in the production queue. If we can't get them done before christmas, it could lead to significant delays due to the holidays (christmas and new years) as well as chinese new years and of january. This gives us about 2 weeks time between holidays to begin freight shipping to my fulfillment centers in the US and Germany. Freight shipping takes about 1-2 months, depending on the route and the delays because of the ongoing pandemic. Once the fulfillment centers have received the games, they will start shipping them out to you within a week. And once again, this will unfortunately have some delay due to most countries having massive delays in our current situation.

I hope you can understand that you might have to wait a bit longer until you get your hands on the game, but trust me that I am doing everything I can to ensure a safe and efficient solution to the shipping issue.

Add-On shipping cost FIXED

Hey everyone!

As some of you may have noticed, there was a problem with the shipping cost on the pledge manager.

The issue was, that if you'd add one copy of PERTHRO to your pledge, you'd get charged double the shipping cost.

The problem was that you weren't shown the ADD ON, but the PRE-ORDER item. Of course, it's set up that if you pre-order, you'll have to pay the shipping cost.

Thanks to all of you who pointed that out to me!

It's fixed now!

With the help of BackerKit, we managed to fix that, so if you happen to have had that issue, please check your pledge manager checkout again. Your credit cards have not been charged yet, so please make sure your order is correct.

If you have any further issues, please don't hesitate to message me or comment here!

The pledge manager will remain open until everything is sorted!

Thanks for your patience!

As of right now, the access emails have been sent out by BackerKit to your email addresses you've provided when you backed PERTHRO!

For more information on how to use the BackerKit pledge manager, please check the previous Update (#10) for an overview.

The pledge manager will remain open for editing until the end of November, but please complete it as soon as you can to ensure notforgetting to do it.

If you have not received a mail from BackerKit, please check your spam folder, then if you still haven't gotten anything, feel free to message me here. 

What's next?

Kickstarter is transferring the funds, so as soon as we get them, we will begin manufacturing!

The manufacturing of PERTHRO, aside from the coins, will take approximately 30-40 days. We hope to have everything prepared and ready for freight shipping to our fulfillment centers before the block of holidays (christmas, new year's, and chinese new year).

I can't make any prediction on how the holidays and the ongoing worldwide situation will delay the shipments, therefore all I can do is simply promise to post updates as soon as I have any definitive information.

BackerKit Pledge Manager is coming!

Pledge Manager is coming!

For those of you who are new to Kickstarter, a pledge manager is (mostly) a third party site that helps creators like myself streamline the collection of late funds, extra purchases of add-ons, confirmation on your shipping addresses, and mainly just helps with making it as easy as possible for you to get what you backed.

For Perthro, I will be partnering up with BackerKit. I have worked with them in the past and have been incredibly helpful and easy to work with.

So what does this mean for you?

You'll get an email from BackerKit regarding your pledge. The pledge manager looks like somewhat of an online shop. Your pledge rewards are already in your "cart" and the amount of money you pledged is in "store credit". If you over-pledged for more games, you can add them here to your "cart".

 If perhaps you changed your mind and would like to purchase more games or spare dice sets, you can right here! No one has to fear missing out :)

When will I get access?

BackerKit has sent out emails to a small percentage of you backers, which let's you access your pledge manager. Once I've seen that there are no issues with my set up, I'll send it out to everyone else. This doesn't mean, that the ones who already have access, will receive their copy of Perthro sooner! 

As of now, Kickstarter is still collecting the funds, so if you have gotten a mail from Kickstarter regarding your payment not going through, please contact your bank. The most common reason for this is either not enough balance or that your bank assumes fraudulent action. If you haven't received a mail from Kickstarter, you're golden! As soon as Kickstarter has released the funds to me, we'll start the manufacturing of Perthro!

The campaign ended far beyond what I expected!

• You are the best 507 people in the world!
• We've hit the campaign goal in 24h!
• We ended up getting 404% funded!

I'm absolutely speechless! Thank you all from the bottom of my heart!

What's next?

I am currently setting up the pledge manager while Kickstarter collects the funds. Kickstarter takes usually up to two weeks to do so.

If you've received a notification from Kickstarter that your funds couldn't be collected, please contact your credit card provider. This could have any sort of reason and is not uncommon.

The pledge manager will be run through BackerKit, so be aware that you'll get a message from them to confirm your shipping address. BackerKit is set up like a Webshop for your easiest convenience. If you want any add-on games and/or extra spare dice sets, you can add them here.

I will get back to you with another update, once Kickstarter has collected all the funds and the pledge manager is live!
